Porirua City councillor Kathleen Filo has challenged local government bodies nationwide to oppose the ACT Party’s Treaty Principles Bill. The Porirua Council unanimously passed a motion declaring its opposition to the legislation following the arrival of Hīkoi mō Te Tiriti in Wellington.
