Man charged with murder following death of Thames man

A 28-year-old man has been charged with the murder of 60-year-old Maxwell Connor. Connor died in hospital following an alleged altercation at a house on Rolleston Street in Thames on Monday. The accused appeared in Kaitāia District Court and has been remanded in custody.
