US woman in court after alleged $11m methamphetamine smuggling attempt

A 24-year-old American woman has appeared in Manukau District Court after Customs found approximately 31kg of methamphetamine in her suitcases. The woman arrived at Auckland Airport from San Francisco on Saturday, where the vacuum-sealed packages were discovered during a search.
