Prime Minister Christopher Luxon has described the treatment of a woman who made sex allegations against former deputy commissioner Jevon McSkimming as appalling. The Prime Minister agreed with Police Commissioner Richard Chambers that a cover-up occurred in the case, which saw charges against the woman withdrawn months after McSkimming's resignation.
