The Financial Markets Authority has cancelled the licence of Christchurch-based financial advice provider Hope Group Limited and its director, Junpu Wang. The regulator found the firm deliberately misled clients regarding insurance applications, resulting in over $42,000 in commissions. Mr Wang denies all allegations.
