Ministry of Education supplied asbestos-tainted sand to schools

The Ministry of Education has confirmed it supplied sand containing asbestos to approximately 260 schools. Following the recall, Nawton School has closed its junior classrooms after discovering the product was in use. Dozens of schools across the country have closed this week due to the discovery.
