Woman charged after cannabis-laced cake shared at Hawke’s Bay Hospital

A 54-year-old woman has been arrested and charged following an incident in late June where a cannabis-laced cake was allegedly provided at a hospital shared lunch. Two staff members reportedly required emergency department treatment after consuming the cake. The woman is due to appear in Hastings District Court next month.
