Lockdown lifted at Hawke’s Bay Hospital following reports of suspicious person

Hawke’s Bay Hospital in Hastings was placed under lockdown after reports of a suspicious person or potential gunman. Armed police surrounded the exits as a precaution, but the lockdown was lifted approximately one hour later. Health NZ stated the incident occurred in the Emergency Department.
