Look Sharp fined nearly $300,000 for misleading pricing

Walond Limited, trading as Look Sharp, has pleaded guilty to breaching the Fair Trading Act. The Auckland District Court issued the fine following widespread pricing errors where some products cost up to 33% more than advertised. The company also failed to correctly represent consumer rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
