Lower North Island leaders criticise proposed Ōtaki to Levin expressway changes

Regional leaders have written to the government to oppose a downgrade of the Ōtaki to north of Levin expressway. The revised design includes removing on-ramps and overbridges, reducing the northern end to two lanes, and adding a roundabout to State Highway 1.
