Auckland property valuations to be updated this week

Auckland Council is releasing new property valuations for 630,000 properties this week. Residential capital valuations have dropped by an average of 9% based on May 2024 market trends. These updated values will be used to determine rates, which are set to increase by an average of 5.8% from 1 July.
