German tourist dies after being hit by car in Wellington

A 66-year-old German tourist has died in hospital after being struck by a vehicle while crossing Courtenay Place on Monday evening. Police are investigating the crash, which involved an 82-year-old driver. The victim's family has travelled to New Zealand following the incident.
