Man charged with murder of three-year-old Northland girl

A 45-year-old man is due to appear in Kaikohe District Court charged with the murder of three-year-old Catalya Remana Tangimetua-Pepene. The child was found unresponsive at a Kaikohe home last Wednesday. The man also faces a charge of assaulting a child in April.
