Taslim Parsons has taken a personal grievance to the Employment Relations Authority against Wholesale Solutions Limited. The former business and product development manager alleges she was bullied and undermined by senior manager Craig Relph. Parsons claims she had no choice but to resign in September 2024.
The dispute reportedly began in 2023 during a buying trip to Hong Kong. Parsons alleged that disagreements arose regarding the colour of prosthetic underpants and condom sizing. She stated that Craig Relph mocked her concerns regarding the availability of prosthetic underpants in shades suitable for darker skin tones.
Wholesale Solutions has denied the claims and has filed a counterclaim. The company accused Parsons of misrepresenting events and alleged she accessed its computer systems after her departure. Craig Relph testified that Parsons was making things up and that certain emails were taken out of context.
The hearing heard that Parsons and the Relphs previously shared a good working relationship and socialised together. Parsons stated, "I absolutely loved that job; I was really good at it".
