Drones deployed to assist with Coromandel Peninsula fireground survey

Drones equipped with thermal imaging will survey the Black Jack fireground on Monday night to locate remaining pockets of fire. Firefighters have been working in steep terrain and strong winds to manage the Kūaotunu blaze, which began on Saturday and was under control by Sunday.
